Our Staff is here to guide and assist each resident with an individual plan. Each resident has her own background and challenges and we work very hard to help them address each one with compassion and respect.
As each client has a variety of needs, we collaborate with social workers from several local and state agencies including but not limited to Boston Healthcare for the Homeless and Blue Hills Healthy Families. The workers, nurses, and therapists from these agencies visit our home regularly and meet with each of our residents to help them with the individual needs that they and their babies may be facing
Finding more permanent housing is a priority. Quincy Community Action (QCAP) offers our clients a Housing Workshop to jump-start the process. Our staff is also available to assist our residents with any questions or issues that may arise during the application process.
For clients with more complex legal or custody issues, we refer them to the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute where dedicated attorneys work specifically with the homeless and marginalized community one on one.
Our program not only encourages but requires our residents to finish or continue their education. This may mean getting that High School Diploma or Training in a field of their choice. In some cases, it may just begin with learning English as a Second Language.
