Our dedicated staff is committed to guiding and assisting each resident with a personalized plan. We understand that every resident comes from a unique background and faces distinct challenges. We strive tirelessly to help them navigate each challenge with compassion and respect. We believe in empowering our residents and treating them with the dignity they deserve.
As each client has a variety of needs, we collaborate with social workers from several local and state agencies including but not limited to Bridges to Moms, Stronger Generations, Boston Center for Pregnancy Choices/Daybreak Life Partners, Abundant Hope, and others. The workers, nurses, and therapists from these agencies visit our home regularly and meet with each of our residents to help them with the individual needs that they and their babies may be facing
Securing more stable housing is of utmost importance. Quincy Community Action (QCAP) provides our clients with a comprehensive Housing Workshop, designed to expedite the process. Additionally, our dedicated staff is readily available to assist residents with all application procedures, and to advocate on their behalf should any challenges emerge throughout the process. We are committed to supporting our residents every step of the way.
For clients grappling with intricate legal or custody matters, we direct them to the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute. This esteemed institution is staffed with devoted attorneys who specialize in working one-on-one with individuals from homeless and marginalized communities. Their expertise and commitment ensure that our clients receive the necessary legal support and guidance they need during challenging times.
Our program not only encourages but requires our residents to finish or continue their education. This may mean getting that High School Diploma or Training in a field of their choice. In some cases, it may just begin with learning English as a Second Language.
